Short answer
First rule out the report itself: clear filters, widen the date range, check the time zone and include every offer you have links on. If clicks are still missing, test the raw link in a private window. If that click records, a redirect, plugin, shortener or script in front of the link is stripping the tracking parameters.
- Half of all missing-click cases are report settings: filters, date range, time zone or the wrong offer selected.
- A raw link test in a private window separates a broken link from a broken page in one minute.
- Shorteners, cloaking plugins and link-rewriting scripts are the most common reason clicks never arrive.
- Your analytics and your affiliate report count different things, so a small gap is normal; a gap of more than about a fifth needs checking.
You placed your Sugarlab AI or SpiceStars AI link, your own analytics show visitors clicking it, and your OmniPink report shows nothing, or far less than you expected. Missing clicks feel alarming, because clicks are the first step to every conversion. The good news is that the cause is almost always one of a handful of things, and you can find it yourself in a few minutes.
This answer works in two halves. First it rules out the report, because the most common reason clicks seem to be missing is that the report is looking somewhere else. Then it checks the link and everything in front of it. Work through the steps in order, and stop when you find the cause.
Before you assume tracking is broken, make sure the report is showing what you think it is showing.
1. Clear every filter
Reports remember filters. If you last filtered by one Source ID, one sub-ID or one country, today's view may hide the clicks you are looking for. Clear all filters, then add them back one at a time.
2. Check the date range and time zone
Your dashboard shows dates in the time zone set on your account. If your account uses a different time zone from your analytics tool, clicks from late evening can appear on the next day, or the day before. Widen the date range by a day on each side and see whether the clicks appear.
| What you see | Likely cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Clicks appear when you widen the range | Time zone difference | Align time zones in both tools |
| Clicks appear after clearing filters | A saved filter | Save a clean default view |
| Clicks appear under another offer | Link on a different offer | See step 3 |
| Still nothing | The link or page | Continue to the second half |
3. Include every offer you have links on
Each tier has its own offers for Sugarlab AI and SpiceStars AI. If you moved up to VIP or PRO, links you created earlier still point to the old tier's offer, and new links point to the new one. A report filtered to your current offer won't show clicks on old links. Select all offers, then look again. If you find clicks on an older offer, replace those links, because they pay old rates. See how tier upgrades work.
4. Allow for report delay
Clicks usually appear within minutes, but reports can lag at busy times. If you launched a placement in the last hour, wait a little and check again before changing anything. Changing several things at once while data is still arriving makes it impossible to tell what fixed the problem.
5. Know what counts as a click
Your affiliate report and your analytics measure different things. Your analytics may count page views or button taps, including people who tapped but closed the page before the redirect finished. Your report counts clicks that reached the tracking domain. Many reports also show both total clicks and unique clicks, and repeated clicks from the same visitor count once in the unique column. Known bots and automated traffic are filtered out.
A gap of up to about a fifth between your analytics and your report is normal. A bigger gap, or zero clicks, means something needs fixing.
If the report is set up correctly and clicks are still missing, the problem sits between your visitor and the tracking domain.
6. Test the raw link
Copy your tracking link straight from the dashboard. Open a private or incognito window, paste the link into the address bar and press enter. Make sure you land on the Sugarlab AI or SpiceStars AI page you expected. Then check your report for that click, using the Source ID and sub-IDs on the link to find it.
- The test click appears. The link works. Something on your page or in front of the link changes it before visitors reach the tracking domain. Go to step 8.
- The test click doesn't appear. The link itself may be wrong. Continue to step 7.
Use a private window because your normal browser may have extensions that block tracking domains, and it may already have cookies that make your test behave differently from a new visitor's visit.
7. Compare the published link with the dashboard link
Copy the link again from the tracking link generator and compare it, character by character, with the link you published. Common problems:
- A character was lost when the link was pasted into a page builder or social post.
- The link was typed or edited by hand, and a parameter name was changed.
- The link came from a different offer or tier than you intended.
- A sub-ID contains a space, an ampersand or another symbol that broke the URL.
The safest fix is to generate a fresh link with the labels entered in the generator's fields, never by editing the URL. See where do I find my tracking link.
8. Remove what sits in front of the link
If the raw link works but published clicks are missing, something between the visitor and the tracking domain is changing the link or stopping the request. The usual suspects:
| What sits in front | What goes wrong | How to test |
|---|---|---|
| Link shortener | Drops or rewrites query parameters | Publish the raw link for a test |
| Cloaking or redirect plugin | Strips parameters or sends to a cached URL | Disable the plugin, test, re-enable |
| Page builder button | Saves an old version of the link | Re-paste the link and republish |
| Affiliate link manager | Adds its own redirect and tracking | Bypass it for one test |
| Consent or privacy script | Blocks the redirect until consent | Test with consent accepted and refused |
| Bridge or pre-lander page | Its button links somewhere else | Click through it yourself |
Remove the layers, test the raw link on the page, then add each layer back one at a time. The click disappears when you add back the layer that breaks it.
9. Inspect the link visitors actually click
Some sites rewrite links when the page loads, through themes, ad scripts or affiliate plugins. The link in your editor is then not the link visitors see. Open the live page, right-click the button or link, choose to inspect it and read the URL in the page code. It must match your dashboard link exactly.
10. Check sub-IDs and Source IDs
Use letters, numbers, dashes and underscores only. Avoid spaces, accents, emoji and symbols. Keep each label short. A label that breaks the URL can stop the click from being recorded, or record it without the label so you can't find it when you filter by that label.
11. Test on a phone and in apps
Most adult traffic arrives on phones, often from inside apps such as X, Reddit, Telegram or Discord. In-app browsers can behave differently from a normal browser. Send the link to yourself in the same app your visitors use, tap it on a phone and check the report. If phone clicks are missing while desktop clicks record, the problem is in the in-app browser, a mobile-only redirect or a mobile version of your page.
| Pattern | Most likely cause |
|---|---|
| No clicks at all from any placement | Report filters, wrong offer or a broken link |
| Clicks from one placement missing | A plugin, shortener or button on that page |
| Clicks missing only on mobile | In-app browser or mobile page version |
| Clicks missing only from one country | A geo redirect on your own site |
| Clicks appear, but without labels | A sub-ID or Source ID with unsupported characters |
| Clicks dropped suddenly after a change | The change you made, so undo it first |
| Fewer clicks than analytics, but not zero | Normal counting differences, bots or blockers |
Sugarlab AI and SpiceStars AI are subscription apps, and many subscribers buy days after their first click. If clicks aren't recorded, the visitor's later purchase can't be credited to you, and on RevShare you lose every renewal that would have followed. A missing click is never just one lost click. That is why it pays to test every new placement before you send real traffic to it.
- Test every new link in a private window before you publish it.
- Keep a link sheet with the date, offer, tier, landing page, labels and placement of every link.
- Avoid shorteners and cloaking plugins on AI adult offer links unless you have tested them.
- Re-test placements after theme, plugin or page builder updates.
- Replace old links after every tier upgrade.
- Check your click report against your analytics once a week.
If the raw link test in a private window doesn't record a click, or you have worked through every step and clicks are still missing, contact support by email at affiliates@omnipink.ai or on Telegram at @OMNIPINK. Include:
- The exact tracking link you tested.
- The page where the link is published.
- The date, time and time zone of your test click.
- The device, browser or app you used.
- A screenshot of your report with the filters visible.
With those details, the team can trace the click on the tracking side quickly.
